The Psychology of the Headshot - December 11th @ 5:30pm

Wednesday, December 11th at 5:30pm.

Learn how to connect with your clients to produce killer headshots!

We will cover...

The Nitty Gritty

We'll cover how to create the lighting and camera setup so you can focus on the fun stuff - interacting with your clients.

This includes: shooting tethered, camera height, ideal lens, and different light setups.

Finding Your Schtick

The most effective way to get clients comfortable in front of the camera. The trick is to keep their mind occupied and have them forget it's even there. We will cover there right banter while providing solid direction on facial expressions and poses.

This includes: how to build a rapport (even with difficult clients), different posing techniques for all body and face shapes, and how to get clients to provide expressions that exude the powerful combination of "confidence and approachability".

Getting in the Zone

This is all about being hands on. We'll spend 90 minutes utilizing the techniques we covered by having you to implement them. You will get a chance to be behind the camera as well as in front of it. We believe getting your headshot taken helps you relate  to your clients' experience.

Open Q&A

We will wrap up by carving out time at the end to talk about what we found worked (or didn't) and to answer any questions.

All workshops last about 3 hours. Length will vary depending on workshop size.

Purchase includes one FREE hour in Studio B.

Workshops are hands-on and interactive.

Please bring: your camera and lens/es.

We try to keep class sizes small since our workshops are interactive and we want everyone to get plenty hands-on practice. Please contact us if you have any questions.
