Adam is a Boise native and local photographer. His love of photography began with film in a high school photojournalism class. He now has over 10 years of photography experience in both the public and private sector; including military photography, publications, product and brand marketing, videography, and professional portraits. Adam shoots a wide variety of photographic genres, and loves the creative arts.

Introduction to Photography

 

Are you new to photography? Then this workshop is perfect for you. We will cover all the basic topics you’ll need to know, when getting started.

What will you be learning in this class?

-Basic equipment you will need

-How to expose correctly

  • What is aperture

  • What is exposure triangle

-What is white balance

-Auto focus points and how they work

-Photography composition

-Metering modes and how they work

-Photography lenses for beginners

If you are unsure what all the bells and whistles do on your camera this is the course for you! We will take an in-depth look at the various features and shooting modes that your DSLR posses.

Please note, that “Introduction to Photography” is a pre-requisite for this class
